Come join an innovative Vegetation Management team that has achieved Tree Line USA for 14 years and staff that is well accredited with Certified Arborist, Utility Specialist and Certified Tree Care Specialist.  We are looking for energetic people to manage projects and ensure successful implementation and execution using a project management approach. Develop and implement strategies within a comprehensive Vegetation Management Program. Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies to coordinate all assigned storm restoration actives pertaining to Vegetation Management. Will be responsible to maintain compliance with state and federal law and regulatory commitments for vegetation related activities under your control. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES 
-Monitor program performance, analyze program results and identify areas of opportunity.      
-Develop and implement departmental strategies.  
-Effectively manage projects within scope, schedule and budget within a comprehensive Vegetation Management Program. 
-Oversee systematic quality assurance program to determine acceptability of contractors operations and adherence to contract terms and conditions, and Exelon vegetation management guidelines/requirements.  
-Conduct contractor safety audits. 
-Lead and execute consolidation efforts for specified program components across Exelon Vegetation Management including processes and procedures, performance indicators, business planning, environmental awareness, and contracting strategies. 
-Coordinates all assigned storm restoration activities pertaining to vegetation management.; This includes vegetation storm team lead and on-call responsibilities. 
-Responsible for notification to ensure compliance with state law and regulatory commitments for vegetation related activities. 
-Support all claims, Regulatory and Presidential complaints, document findings in ACE reports and conduct Root Cause Investigations as needed. 
-Establish and maintain clear communications/relations with all internal/external stakeholders. 

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS 
Minimum: 
-Bachelor’s degree in technical/business discipline and 5-8 years extensive field experience OR high school diploma and 9-12 years extensive field experience required. 
-Strong leadership skills. 
-Demonstrated knowledge of strategic planning and execution. 
-Demonstrated Project Management skills, writing skills and PC skills including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Project, Passport and OMS/ODS. 
-Strong interpersonal, communications and presentation skills. 
-Strong analytical and evaluation techniques. 

Preferred: 
-Bachelors or Master’s degree in technical/business discipline 
-Demonstrated utility or vegetation management experience preferred. 
-International Society of Arboriculture Certification (Utility Specialist) preferred or ability to obtain.       Required for Transmission Vegetation Management position.
