The Tree Stewardship and Planting Work Group is focused on increasing the number of new trees established and mature trees maintained in the Chicago Region. To this end, this work group is developing programs to improve community capacity to maintain and improve forests, such as a Corporate/Public Tree Stewardship Program, a Community Tree Network, and various opportunities to build the next generation of conservation and forestry professionals.
